David Knight : Iron Man of Enduro

The 90 minute DVD follows “Knighter’s” early days as a child, chasing both his older brother Juan and his dad. The DVD follows Knight's early start at the age of 3, competing in trials competitions, right through to his world beating victories in WEC, the Erzberg Enduro, The Last Man Standing Competition as well as David’s onslaught of the GNCC Enduro Series in the U.S.
Although “quietly” narrated by Charlie Boorman, ( Long Way ‘Round) this DVD is filled with thrilling race action that will leave the viewer in disbelief in the tenacity and endurance of this “Isle of Man” native who conquers the world.
The DVD is packed with Knight’s own home movies and interviews with the Knight family as they tell the story of a kid from the Isle of Man and how he became a world champion.
Also featured is heart stopping action from the 3 hour Weston Beach race and the Erzberg, (one of the most frightening off-road venues you will ever witness.)
A large part of the DVD follows Knight as he attacks the Grand National Cross Country series in the United States in 2007, dealing with early season injuries and mechanical issues to battle back for a showdown at the final race of the season.
Iron man of Enduro is also packed with extras, including grueling action from “The Tough One” and pre race chatter amongst the world’s best off-road racers. Also included is some helmet cam footage aboard the KTM 250 XC and the KTM 450 SX.
